It is no surprise that the world's largest Ford motorsport event series celebrates Ford's most powerful vehicle the Cobra Jet. Watson Racing will once again present the Ford Performance Cobra Jet Showdown and it happens February 27-March 1, 2020 at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida during the Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout. This ninth annual showdown is open to both vintage and late-model Cobra Jet vehicles. Each year the biggest names in Cobra Jet racing have descended upon Bradenton Motorsports Park to get tuned up for the NMCA and NHRA competitions in the weeks following the massive all-Ford national event. Heavy hitters like Chuck Watson Sr., Gardner Stone, PC Richard, and Carl Tasca Sr. will join previous winners Paul Roderick, Rod Heltzel, and Michelle Bongiovanni in a wild shootout with the true factory hot rods.
