In less than 48 hours the ididit Outlaw True Street class has helped create an even bigger buzz around the Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals, September 29-October 1 at Beech Bend Raceway (Bowling Green, KY). With a record number of racers and fans expected, NMRA officials have revised Saturday's run schedule to include the ididit Outlaw True Street category and a second 30-mile cruise. NMRA general manager Rollie Miller reiterated the point that all NMRA class cars will finish third round of qualifying prior to the start of the True Street on-track competition (entry fee not included). The IRS-suspension setup requires a minimum wheel diameter of 17-inches, putting tire choices outside of the class rules. NMRA tech officials have added the Mickey Thompson ET Street R Radial 305/45R17 (p/n 3572) to the list of approved tires.
