In less than 48 hours the ididit Outlaw True Street class has helped create an even bigger buzz around the Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals, September 29-October 1 at Beech Bend Raceway (Bowling Green, KY). With a record number of racers and fans expected, NMRA officials have revised Saturday’s run schedule to include the ididit Outlaw True Street category and a second 30-mile cruise. NMRA general manager Rollie Miller reiterated the point that all NMRA class cars will finish third round of qualifying prior to the start of the True Street on-track competition (entry fee not included). The revised schedule and second 30-mile cruise at 4:30PM will allow racers in NMRA classes (Henchmen Racing Turbo Coyote Shootout, VMP Performance Terminator/GT500 Shootout, etc) that wish to enter ididit Outlaw True Street to have time to get the car prepared for street use.

Rule Update— ididit Outlaw True Street
A few 2015-and-newer Mustang enthusiasts have expressed interest in entering the ididit Outlaw True Street race. The IRS-suspension setup requires a minimum wheel diameter of 17-inches, putting tire choices outside of the class rules. NMRA tech officials have added the Mickey Thompson ET Street R Radial 305/45R17 (p/n 3572) to the list of approved tires.
The NMRA tech line has also gotten a few inquiries on the legality of the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial Pro 275 tire—that tire is also legal under the rules, which allows any 275/60R15 DOT-legal drag radial.
