Beginning January 1st, 2024, A head and neck restraint device/system meeting SFI 38.1 is mandatory for any vehicle running 150 mph or faster for 1/4 or 1/8 mile or running 7.49 (1/4 Mile) or 4.49 (1/8 Mile) E.T. or quicker or by class requirements.

The NMRA Technical Committee have made updates to the 2020 rules in the following classes:

1. Renegade
2. Limited Street

The NMRA Technical Committee has made changes to the True Street class rule set. Specifically the committee has changed the Exhaust rule to: EXHAUST SYSTEM Any Exhaust exit location permitted.
