Celebrate Mustang’s Milestone 60th Birthday with NMRA in Rockingham
Every April fans across the world celebrate the birthday of Ford’s original pony car on Global Mustang Day. This year, that milestone 60th birthday falls on a Wednesday, so NMRA’s kicking off the celebration early with Mustang Day Presented by NC Stangs and Speedology at the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals held at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, NC, on Saturday, April 13th. While Mustang Day is specifically on Saturday the entire NMRA/NMCA event runs April 11-14, 2024.

So come on out and spend Mustang Day with us on April 13th to celebrate all things Mustang!“
NMRA racers join forces with their NMCA counterparts in mid-April at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, NC, for the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals Presented by Sipple’s Speed & Performance, where the Mustang Day celebration will take place atop the famed Top of the Rock above the drag strip and around the facility. In addition to joining the UPR Products Car Show celebrating Mustang Day, enthusiasts are welcome to join in on the racing action in Mustang True Street presented by Circle D Specialties or other classes that might fit their cars. The first 500 Mustang Day participants (show or race) will each receive a collectible Mustang 60 Years license plate, lanyard and credential.
“From the birth of NMRA 26 years ago, the Ford Mustang was the foundation of our Ford events,” Steve Wolcott, Co-Founder of NMRA, said. “We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Mustang’s 60th birthday throughout the 2024 season, but our NMRA Mustang Day in Rockingham will be extra special.”
Additionally, attendees can enjoy the Top of the Rock Fan Party, flame-throwing jet dragsters, the world’s largest BIGFOOT monster truck, and more.
