Circle D Specialties Doubles Down as Sponsor Of NMCA True Street
Enduring the rigors of True Street competition requires a durable torque converter tuned for repeatable performance. Circle D Specialties, which is the NMRA True Street sponsor, knows what it takes to build converters for street and strip action. Showing its support for grassroots racing, the company recently doubled down and became the sponsor of the NMCA True Street class for the 2024 season.
Competitors in this class must endure a 30-mile cruise and three back-to-back passes down the drag strip in a test of endurance and consistency. When all the results are tabulated, the racers running closest to the elapsed time categories running from 15 to 8 seconds win those classes.
Circle D Specialties True Street is contested at every event on the 2024 Red Line Oil NMCA Muscle Car Nationals schedule, beginning at Rockingham Dragway in early April at the first of three events shared with its sister series the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals with the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals. In early May the two series join forces again for the NMRA/NMCA Race for The Rings at World Wide Technology Raceway. Later that same month, NMCA returns to the historic and picturesque Beech Bend Raceway for the NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem. In July the series heads north for its third combined event as the NMRA/NMCA Power Festival returns to US 131 Motorsports Park. NMCA heads back to Summit Motorsports Park for the All-American Nationals in late August. Closing out the 2024 season, the series returns to Lucas Oil Raceway for the World Street Finals.
