For more than 100 years, Holley has led the way when it comes to performance

To most racers and race fans, Holley Performance is a name synonymous with carburetors and for good reason. Founded more than 125-years ago by brothers George and Earl Holley, the company quickly became known as a major producer of carburetors for many Detroit-built automobiles.

Once automobile enthusiasts began to crave performance models, Holley was happy to oblige with their line of Holley "Double Pumper" and "Dominator" carburetors that were for many years, the standard of the industry for NASCAR Cup Series and NHRA Pro Stock competitors.

The 1980s marked Holley's entrance into the fuel injection market where OEM EFI components and analog Pro-Jection retrofit fuel-injection systems for carbureted cars were introduced.

In the early 1990s Holley continued new product introductions with the HP Pro Series race-ready carburetors. During this time Holley also introduced SysteMAX engine kits that included matched cylinder heads, intakes and cams. The Dominator also evolved in the 1990s into the HP Dominator; huge billet electric fuel pumps were introduced, and retrofit EFI kits evolved into digital Pro-Jection 4D and 4Di.

A lot has changed in the last century and while Holley continues to manufacturer a wide range of carburetors for both street and track use, the company has expanded and now features more than 60 of the most well-known and most popular brands in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Holley's product range has greatly expanded to include fuel injection systems, performance fuel pumps, intake manifolds, superchargers, nitrous oxide injection, performance plumbing parts, exhaust systems, engine dress–up products, ignition products, data-logging and display products, handheld programmers, bellhousings, and clutches.

Among the company's owned divisions are brand names MSD Performance, Flowmaster, Hurst, Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS), Weiand, Flowtech, Earl's Performance Plumbing, Hooker Headers, Demon Carburetion, Racepak, Superchips, Diablosport, Edge Products, Accel Ignition, Quick Time, Hays Clutches, Mr. Gasket, Lakewood, Mallory Ignition, B&M, APR and Dinan.

In short, Holley and their related brands offer just about anything that a racer could want, especially those who regularly compete in the Red Line Oil NMRA Drag Racing Series and the Holley NMCA Drag Racing Series.

While Holley’s roots are in Pennsylvania and the company has been previously based in Michigan, it’s current home is Bowling Green, Ky., where is has been based since 1952. The central geography helps reinforce the close relationship that Holley enjoys with Pro Media as the 2024 season includes two events at nearby Beech Bend Raceway Park, SDPC NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem on May 30-June 2 and the NMRA World Finals and Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival, Sept. 26-29.

Holley also continues to support the NMCA and NMRA series as a major contingency sponsor with a variety of products including Holley carburetors and EFI.
