Saturday Coverage from the TorqStorm Billet Superchargers NMRA/NMCA Power Festival Presented by Paul’s High Performance. US 131 Motorsports Park is booming with the sound of horsepower! Qualifying is underway and both the NMRA and NMCA have one more day to prepare for eliminations. There's been wild passes, giant wheelies and some of the best muscle car racing in America.

Mike Roberts ran in Factory Appearing Stock Tire (FAST) on the NMCA side, but we didn't want to deny Ford and mercury fans of this incredible Cyclone. It packs a big-inch 429 SCJ, a 4-speed and ran 11.40s!

Lloyd Mikeska came into the TorqStorm Superchargers NMRA/NMCA Power Festival chasing the championship in the Ford Muscle class while maintaining a strong chance of a top ten finish in HP Tuners Super Stang. The talented Texan, better known around these parts as “Silent Lloyd” is well on his way to achieving both goals as he’s the low qualifier in both classes. Mikeska drove his blue Mustang to an 11.759 on the 11.75 H/FM index to secure the No. 3 in Ford Muscle and in HP Tuners Super Stang, he posted a nearly perfect .0035 reaction time to lock up the No. 1 position. Mikeska will have a bye runs to kick off eliminations in the Super Stang category. “I’m just out here trying to do the best I can,” said Mikeska. “My blue car is good and after it ran 11.74 on a time trial, I knew I just needed to blip the throttle a couple of times. I’m chasing the title in Ford Muscle so every point counts.”
