Simpson Continues as Official Safety Team Sponsor of NMRA & NMCA

 

Santa Ana, California — A cornerstone of NMRA and NMCA events is a commitment to safety, and that extends to keeping the NMRA and NMCA Safety Teams protected while they support racers throughout an event and during on-track incidents. Having the proper gear is crucial, and NMRA Ford Nationals and NMCA Muscle Car Nationals have the support of an industry leader as Simpson signed on again as the Official Sponsor of the NMRA/NMCA Safety Team, providing equipment and support for the 2024 racing season.

NMRA/NMCA safety personnel will be equipped with Simpson SFI-certified jackets, pants, and gloves to protect the rescuer from fire and other hazards associated with on-track incidents. The crew will also wear Simpson racing helmets for head protection and fire safety. In addition to the Simpson personal protection gear, Advanced Rescue Systems provides premier TNT Rescue Equipment to assist in driver extraction. The NMRA/NMCA Chevrolet Silverado HD3500 emergency vehicles are also equipped with several types of fire suppression equipment for a wide range of conditions.
