TorqStorm Superchargers Returns with Bounty for NMRA and NMCA True Street Racers
NMRA and NMCA Circle D Specialties True Street racers can win extra cash when running a TorqStorm supercharger. TorqStorm is offering a bounty/bonus of $1,000 to the overall winner and $500 to the runner-up when racers win or get the R/U using a TorqStorm blower.
In addition, TorqStorm will offer $500 to any racer who wins his or her True Street ET bracket (9.00; 10.00; 11.00; 12.00; 13.00; 14.00 or 15.00) during competition at NMRA and NMCA events.
“The nice thing about True Street is that you can run our blower and you just have to go fast and be consistent,” said Chris Brooker of TorqStorm. “I think it’s the coolest class you have because it’s street legal and the rules are so relaxed that you can just go out and have fun.”
Circle D Specialties True Street is designed for street-legal vehicles that must complete a 30-mile cruise and then make three back-to-back-to-back runs on track. Participants only race the clock and are scored based on the three-run average. And with an overall winner and runner-up, plus the 7 elapsed time brackets, True Street provides a total of 9 winners per event!
