All the cars and all the stars of the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals return to the famed Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, for the NMRA Ford Nationals! Featuring the NMRA’s premier heads-up and Index classes the event is sure to give Ford enthusiasts all they could ask for at America’s racetrack. Each racer coming from afar will be looking to take their shot for all the glory on the 1320′ in their respective classes and take down those local stars…it’s sure to be a classic.

If you’re a fan of the Street Outlaws TV show then you won’t want to miss the insane, horsepower-infused Street Outlaws of NMRA Ford drag racing! Watch as these incredible turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous packed Mustangs go wheels-up and heads-up for big money and national bragging rights. Every NMRA events feature the wild Street Outlaws, Renegades, Modified Streets, and special insane race classes.

Street Car Challenge (New For 2021)

The all-new Street Car Challenge features simple rules to make it easy for enthusiasts whose vehicles do not fit into a specific class to get on track and compete at a national event. Entrants can enjoy scheduled fun-run/grudge race sessions on Friday and Saturday and a FREE entry into Sunday’s True Street Bracket Race. Recognizing that there are a serious group of specialty shootout vehicles that prefer heads-up racing, the new Street Car Challenge will also have a special Sunday heads-up eliminator. The Quick 16 Round-Up will place the sixteen quickest competitors on a Pro Tree ladder and use a .400 Pro Tree start for the heads-up eliminator. There is $750 in prize money to the winner and racers are eligible for the NMRA Contingency program as well.

I Want To Race – How Do I Do It?

The NMRA offers many different classes for all different levels of racer. From the entry-level True Street class all the way up to the aforementioned Street Outlaw class – if you’ve got a Ford-powered, Ford-bodied car, there’s a class for you to fit in. The True Street class draws the largest participation, with vehicles ranging from the fifteen-second zone all the way down to eight-second heavy hitters.

TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout – New for this event, the second of three TREMEC Stick Shift Shootouts in 2021 will be featured at the Ford Performance Nationals in Norwalk. Once the QA1 True Street competition on Saturday has concluded, the quickest 8 stick cars will be selected for the Shootout on Sunday. The quickest eight manual-equipped vehicles will be randomly paired in the lanes prior to each round. Each of the 8 contestants will receive a special shootout plaque, and the winner takes home a custom acrylic award, and a McLeod Racing RXT Twin Disc Clutch & Flywheel valued at $1,300, with the runner up receiving a plaque, plus a $500 McLeod Racing product certificate.

All-Female True Street (New for 2021)

Calling all ladies! The NMRA Ford Nationals is the only series that will be featuring an All-Female True Street presented by Baer Brake Systems class and it makes its debut at Summit Motorsports Park. Just like the normal QA1 True Street, this particular group will receive its own set of awards for the various time intervals, and will join QA1 True Street on its 30-mile cruise and three back-to-back runs on track. Bring your Mustang or Ford and race to the Winner’s Circle!

All-New RING of FIRE Car Show Competition

A new feature of the UPR Car Show at the NMRA Ford Performance Nationals is the Ring of Fire competition. On Saturday, judges will select 12 vehicles that will be moved into the Ring of Fire for final judging. Those selected will receive special prizes, and after judging is completed, the winner of the Ring of Fire Best of Show award will receive a special Victor award, along with a $50 NMRA PowerMall gift certificate. The Ring of Fire Best of Show winner will also get their vehicle photographed for a feature article in Fastest Street Car magazine.
