The NMRA Tech Department received a rule request asking to change the approved fuel for G-Force Racing Transmissions Coyote Stock class, from VP Racing Fuels C-10 to VP-C85. After an extensive review of this request with Ford Performance Engineers and VP Racing Fuels Representatives, the Tech Committee and Ford have determined it would not be feasible to change the spec fuel requirements for 2022 and will continue requiring C10 in NMRA Coyote Stock.

The NMRA Tech Committee appreciates VP Racing Fuels input in this matter and Ford Performance’s willingness to consider the request with the committee with extensive testing on short notice. The Committee will reconsider a fuel change in Coyote Stock for 2023 at the end of the 2022 NMRA race season. NMRA
