Teen Racers Join NMRA Finals Fun in Jr. Street

Teenagers can get in on the racing fun alongside the adults as the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals series wraps up its 25th anniversary season by competing in Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales Jr. Street.

Teens age 13 through 16 years old can move beyond Jr. Dragsters and race full-size vehicles at a national event. Under the watch of an approved and licensed adult teammate, the young racers can run registered, insured, and street-legal vehicles running no quicker than 9-second elapsed times in the eighth mile with mufflers and DOT street tires in place. The NHRA-designed class will run using a .500 full tree.

Not only will Jr. Street make the final race of the NMRA season, but the winning teen driver will score a $300 prize and a custom NMRA acrylic award, while the runner-up racer will earn a $150 prize and plaque.
