Attention NMRA Drag Racing competitors, we just passed the mid-season point of our 2023 season. It is that time of the year that the Tech Department has requested that all Mid-Season Rule Requests be turned in by the May 14th Deadline.
The Tech Committee made a rule clarification in Ram/Fresh Air Rule Section and a Base Weight Adjustment in Renegade to the Small Block Turbo (Billet) 366-440 gas Combination – (minus -50lbs).
The NMRA Technical Committee has reviewed all rule requests to date and have updated the preliminary rules in the following classes:
Renegade
Limited Street
Super Stang

The NMRA Technical Department has made the following rule clarification in the Limited Street Class:
All TVS 2300 (2.3L) and TVS 2650 (2.65L) superchargers must have factory location mounted throttle body. Rear-mounted throttle bodies are prohibited.

The NMRA Technical Committee has updated the 2019 class rules to reflect mid-season changes. Classes which have had changes made with have an update date of (6-4) in red. Thanks to everyone for their input on these changes.

The off-season always seems to be getting shorter and shorter and we would like to kick-off the 2017 rules discussion earlier this year. In an effort to serve you better, please submit rule requests for the 2017 NMRA drag racing series by October 7, 2016. Our Tech Department, headed by Lonnie Grim, will begin evaluating those requests to help form the 2017 Preliminary Rules for next season.
